Club Med, world leader in premium holidays, has chosen Keepeek DAM software to improve the centralisation and the management of its visual content. Thanks to this platform, the brand can effectively synchronise its media with its distribution tools, while guaranteeing fluid and consistent communication across its multiple channels.

Find out how the Keepeek solution has enabled Club Med to optimise the management of its media in over 26 countries.

Managing visual content: a major challenge for Club Med

Before adopting the Keepeek DAM, managing Club Med's visual content was complex. With a presence in 26 countries, the company had to manage thousands of photos, videos and other media spread across different teams and tools. This fragmented organisation meant that communication was difficult and time-consuming. The marketing teams in each country had to work with external and internal partners to find the right content, often in several stages.

Club Med was looking for a solution capable of centralising all its digital assets and facilitating access to them for all its teams. The challenge was to ensure brand compliance while enabling local personalisation of marketing campaigns. They also needed to reduce the time taken to synchronise content between their different platforms. For example, synchronisation between the PIM, the old DAM and the various websites could take up to 48 hours. It was therefore impossible to set up responsive and effective communication.

The solution: Keepeek DAM

To meet these challenges, Club Med adopted Keepeek, the French Digital Asset Management leader, with the aim of optimising the management of its visual resources. The main objective was to bring together all its media in a single and centralised content repository, accessible to all teams, regardless of their location. More than 55,000 media (photos, videos, logos) are stored in the Keepeek DAM. This centralisation guarantees fast and secure access to digital resources and enables simplified searching using keywords and appropriate metadata.

Thanks to the DAM, all media, such as holiday photos, 360° videos or even GIFs, can be found in just a few clicks. It also allows content to be categorised by theme, season or destination, making navigation quick and intuitive.

Concrete benefits for content management

Implementing Keepeek has brought Club Med numerous benefits, both in terms of productivity and marketing consistency.

Centralisation and accessibility

Visual content is accessible to all teams, wherever they are based. All they have to do is use the SSO connection to identify themselves. This centralisation has enabled better coordination between teams in different departments and countries. What's more, thanks to the bilingual French/English platform, all contributors can use the DAM, even if they don't speak French.

Teams also have access to a Brand Centre where logos, graphic charters and various brand elements for each holiday village are made available.

Search made easy

When the Keepeek DAM was set up, our documentation team restructured the media classification plan and re-indexed all the content. Thanks to a new, clear and intuitive tree structure and the addition of relevant keywords to the various media, the teams save precious time when searching for the visual content they need. Staff have also been trained in the use of Keepeek, in French and English, by our teams.

Reduced synchronisation times

Keepeek is an interoperable DAM; it integrates perfectly with the other solutions used by Club Med, in particular the Quable PIM and their websites. This interoperability facilitates the distribution of content across all channels. Before Keepeek, it took up to 48 hours to synchronise visual content with the PIM and websites. With Keepeek, this time has been reduced to just 1 hour, enabling us to deploy marketing campaigns more quickly.

We also set up a nightly script between Stakla and Keepeek to automatically retrieve and manage product media.

Rights management

Keepeek also enables user and content rights to be managed. Managers can assign specific authorisations based on user roles. This ensures that only authorised people can access, modify or publish certain media. The DAM also manages media usage rights. When content distribution authorisation expires, the teams are notified. This helps to avoid disputes over image rights and broadcasting rights.

A system tailored to Club Med's specific needs

One of the great strengths of Keepeek DAM is its ability to adapt to the specific needs of each company. In the case of Club Med, the management of visual content must take into account the diversity of destinations offered by the brand, each with its own cultural and marketing specificities.

DAM makes it possible to personalise access to content according to users' needs. For example, a Club Med village in Asia will be able to access visuals that reflect local culture and architecture, while a village in Europe will favour other content.

This flexibility enables Club Med to adapt its communications while respecting the brand's global guidelines.

A marketing DAM solution to reinforce brand consistency

Brand consistency is an essential issue for a global player like Club Med. The Keepeek platform ensures that each piece of content complies with the graphic guidelines. Content is grouped by theme (season, destination, campaign) so that teams can quickly find the right versions of logos, typography or visuals.

Keepeek also offers a content validation function, enabling teams to ensure that the media used in each campaign is consistent with Club Med's visual identity. This reinforces the brand's consistency on a global scale while giving local teams the flexibility to adapt their communications.

Simplified content management for marketing teams

With over 1,800 active users and 5,000 connections each month to the Keepeek DAM, the management of visual content is now much more fluid. Not only can marketing teams quickly access existing media, they can also add and organise new digital assets. Keepeek offers an advanced search option that makes it possible to quickly find a visual based on specific keywords (country, product, theme).

The platform is suitable for both internal contributors and external partners. Communication agencies and service providers can access authorised content, simplifying exchanges and speeding up the distribution of communication campaigns.‍

The future with Keepeek: an agile and scalable solution

Beyond its immediate benefits, Keepeek offers Club Med a scalable DAM solution. The platform is regularly updated to meet the new challenges of digital marketing and the growing needs of companies in terms of visual content management. New functionalities are regularly added to adapt to market requirements and user expectations.

In a context where visual communication is increasingly crucial, Keepeek is enabling Club Med to remain competitive and responsive. Centralised management of visual content has become a strategic asset for the brand, giving it the agility and consistency that are essential in an international environment.‍

In adopting Keepeek DAM, Club Med has chosen a robust and flexible solution, capable of adapting to the diversity of its needs while guaranteeing overall brand consistency. Thanks to this platform, the management of visual content is simpler, faster and more efficient, enabling the brand to optimise its marketing campaigns on a global scale.
